The Pill That Kill–Available at a Doctor Near You
Imagine going to your doctor and being offered a pill—not because you’re sick,
or there is a risk of getting sick. No, you are a friendly doctor who just gives
you use drugs because you are a woman.
If this sounds like a Hitchcockian horror story to you, be prepared. Gynecologists
is launching a strange medical experiment across the country that could be
serious impact on women’s health.
The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) has decided that
will not wait until the Food and Drug Administration approves over-the-counter sales
of the so-called morning after pills, pills that are supposed to help women who are
regrets having sex the night before. Of course it isn’t
it is important that the FDA hesitates to pass off the pills as candy because it is not
wants to promote promiscuity among young people. Also some leading medical
Experts say the morning after pill not only prevents pregnancy, it can
to kill a child already conceived in the mother’s womb.
No, ACOG will not let facts get in the way of its misguided scientific idea
progress. In fact, a group of gynecologists uses this fuzzy reasoning
advertises morning after pill prescription: women tend to have sex on weekends.
Maybe women also drink beer on Saturday nights. Does that mean him
GPs have to load up on six packs every time they get the flu
shots?
The fact is that ACOG’s pro-abortion contingent is running scared. Pharmacists
across the country have said they don’t want to give out the morning after pill,
also known as emergency “contraception” because they have religious and moral
objections to it. Abortionists know this if they can attract women
the morning after pill, they will get more support for their routine, which includes
abortion at any time and for any reason.
It is interesting to note that some experts have come to the conclusion that there
there really isn’t much demand for pills in the morning. In other words, pharmacies
not going out of business because they refuse to store it. So the only way to the great
drug companies sell the morning after pill and other such inventions
sell them directly to doctors.
Every time a woman comes to the gynecologist’s office, ACOG wants the doctor to do this
offer her advance prescriptions for morning-after pills. But apparently it is not
enough to simply make an offer—some women report that their
gynecologists insist that they write a prescription, even if they say
repeatedly that they don’t want it. Doctors urge them: “It’s good for a year!”
This kind of scenario makes a mockery of the phrase “pro-choice.” Inside
how can this situation not conclude that “pro-choice” is really “pro-
abortion?”
Apparently, ACOG sees no reason for gynecologists to inform their patients that
the morning after pill can cause miscarriages – even if some women have strong morals
objections to abortion. For ACOG tablets, there is a simple solution to the calculated 2.7
million unintended pregnancies that occur each year.
But the fact is that many of us were the result of unplanned
pregnancy. You don’t have to be planned or even your natural desires
parents – to make a difference in this world. Every human life is precious
from conception, and no ACOG dictates can change that.
Doctors regularly advise pregnant women not to take any medication during pregnancy
pregnancy for fear of harming their unborn children. If pregnant
cannot take aspirin, how can doctors assume it is safe for her to take it
morning after pill? What to do if the pills “fail” and the woman becomes pregnant? Or
what to do if a woman takes the pill when she is already six weeks old? And so what
prevent the pill from getting into the woman’s hands, which can affect 13-
year-old daughter who thinks the pill is a good excuse to “hook up” with a guy
barely know? Will ACOG pay for the girl’s counseling when she discovers that
the boy who took her virginity is a stalker or 40?
Any doctor who thinks nothing of dispensing a pill that can kill has no place
healing art. Whether surgical or chemical abortion, it is still a tragedy
for both mother and child.
